Aggressive skate anatomy: read the parts before choosing replacements
Locate the part you mean, then ask a model-specific question. This atlas separates six visible regions, two construction concepts and the evidence needed before a replacement decision.
No upload, account or local storage. Closing or reloading clears form answers. Static diagrams, numbered links, full descriptions and the source-question list work without JavaScript.
Original conceptual vectors, not a drawing of a particular product. Nothing is to physical scale. There are no screw positions, torque values, assembly instructions, performance rankings or confirmation that parts fit.
Six numbered regions
- 1. Cuff — Which cuff and fastening reference belongs to your exact model?
- 2. Liner — What are the liner version and fitting questions for each foot?
- 3. Shell / boot body — Record the full model, production version and shell-size marking.
- 4. Closures — Which manufacturer instructions apply to your actual closure?
- 5. Soulplate region — Find the exact plate code, size and model-specific compatibility evidence.
- 6. Frame and wheels — What exact frame, wheel clearance and hardware documents apply?
1. Cuff
The upper cuff region is marked separately from the lower shell. The Aeon product lists its cuff separately; this diagram gives no stiffness or support rating.
Which cuff and fastening reference belongs to your exact model?
2. Liner
The inner liner region is inside the shell in this side-view cutaway. The reference names a USD Basic liner; the outline is not its shape or a size chart.
What are the liner version and fitting questions for each foot?
3. Shell / boot body
The boot body surrounds the inner region. Hardboot and unibody are construction labels in the Aeon source, not proof that an arbitrary replacement shell matches your setup.
Record the full model, production version and shell-size marking.
4. Closures
Buckle and lace positions are schematic. The Aeon reference lists both closure types. Their drawn positions are not fastening instructions or a fit adjustment.
Which manufacturer instructions apply to your actual closure?
5. Soulplate region
This lateral platform region sits around the boot base in the drawing. A Sway replacement plate is separately listed, while the Aeon source describes an integrated construction. A visible edge does not establish a removable part.
Find the exact plate code, size and model-specific compatibility evidence.
6. Frame and wheels
The lower structure holds the wheel row in this reading diagram. The source distinguishes a unibody frame from UFS fields on the replacement plate. Four drawn wheels are illustrative, not a required setup or clearance measurement.
What exact frame, wheel clearance and hardware documents apply?
Read the soulplate cross-section
The cross-section is a relationship map viewed from the front: shell region above, lateral soulplate region around the base, and frame region below. The gaps and widths are invented drawing space. They are not dimensions, material thickness or an exploded assembly order. Compare the marked regions with your manufacturer’s exact drawing; do not copy this outline to make, drill or mount a part.
Separate mounting and integrated construction
Both panels use the same shell outline, wheel centres, viewBox, crop and three region criteria. A dashed boundary denotes a conceptual separation in panel A; a continuous boundary denotes the integrated boot/frame concept in panel B. These are two explanatory models, not measured Sway and Aeon silhouettes. The source lists a separate Sway plate and describes the Aeon boot/frame as unibody. Neither panel establishes cross-model fit, weight advantage or better skating.
Frame-compatibility evidence path
Begin with exact references, not a brand name. Follow the same six questions in order. An unknown answer leads to source checking; a conflicting answer leads to clarification. Completing the form records your answers only: it does not inspect parts or certify an assembly.
- Do you have the exact boot model, version and shell size?
- Do you have the exact proposed frame and part reference?
- Does a manufacturer source identify the mounting system of both?
- Does model-specific documentation cover the size and hardware combination?
- Are the documents consistent, without an unresolved contradiction?
- Have outstanding physical inspection questions been taken to suitable in-person help?

Manufacturer text checked on 11 October 2026. Both pages were directly retrieved. The drawings and prompts are original BladeFeed Journal editorial work, version 2026-10-11.anatomy.v1. No manufacturer photographs, diagrams or animations were copied. No product was personally tested or inspected. Broad compatibility wording is not extended to a specific unverified model/size combination.
